Short-term buy above support at 2.10 imo.

No one should need to say it but: The stock is highly volatile and still highly dependent on external decisions.

I think CLWR is a worthwhile gamble at this level. past and current management has been saying repeatedly that they were in discussions with current and potential new partners that would enable the company to move forward. Other posters point out that has created a 'cry wolf' (in reverse) syndrome. Why believe these fellow frail human idiots now?

I think that there is reason to think that the course Clearwire is on now makes sense for participation by other operators. The basic reason is because they have co-opted the industry accepted standard. What they propose is not 'do it our way or the highway' but "Broadband King - Have it Your Way". What that means in practical terms is that operators can use Clearwire to offload capacity, offer new service packages, and, in some cases, extend coverage. Combined with roaming agreements with Sprint and others, the prospects increase.

What makes this more feasible is the agreement Clearwire put in place with China Mobile. That gains them a way to offer their own and for partners access to 'world phone' devices without footing much of the bill for development.

Then why was CLWR down today in early trading? Because uncertainty remains. The 'cry wolf' nixed promises of new partners or markets remains.

One or more deals external to Sprint could spike the ball.
