Wait a minute Paul. When I lived in Missouri we were told that if we approved casino boat gambling all the money the state would collect would go to the public schools. The voters approved it. What happened? Did those Bozo's in Jefferson City cut the general funds that were going to education. John Stossel had a 1 hour special on education this week. There are some great magnet schools out there that he features. More people what to send their children to these schools than they have the capacity to handle. They have lotteries. The kids that win are ecstatic while the losers are in tears. Costs to run these schools seem to be less than the average public school. nation.foxnews.com
