Hi Paul, it's really improbable to ever know you are in a crash, unless it's your car is getting whacked by some malanthropic driver. the SPX is not quite down 20% since the High so not even technically a bear market. Have you had a chance to read the first 2 market wizards books by Jack Schwager? really excellent John
