I wish I had the nerve to short SOXX and anything else that smacks of solid-state technology. Did you ever hear of a memory chip that went bad? Maybe they do, but I think there's a tremendous overhang of products.

Thanks for inquiring about the health of the frog. He is just fine. I didn't even see any signs of ill-health the day the market went down 554 points, but perhaps there was suffering that I couldn't perceive. I don't know how old he was when he first fell into my care but that was nearly eighteen months ago. For anyone who wonders why an African frog is discussed on this thread, I might mention that I decided some time early in the year that this was my market indicator and when the frog died the market would go into a really severe bear market. So far it's been as good an indicator as any. The market has aged and so has he.
