I would agree it is not what one would expect.

There have been so many headfakes on the Eurotrash problem, that this may be one of those times that real news will be bought. I dunno.

But, I also think they are going to make a stronger push this time and attack 1220. It will probably fail, but I think it is in the cards.

I'm in no great rush to short.

As for gold/miners, I don't know. If there is a whole lot of printing going on (and there is), then we should have gold and miners sniffing it out like a pig on truffles. So far, I'm not that impressed.

But (another but...how many will there be you ask?), I see some lower grade miners pushing new HOD's, with NEM selling off. NEM, IMO, is often a headfake for the miners. I like to see the other majors green and it down.

I'm letting the miners ride a bit. Besides, two of my positions are solidly in the red still, but I've got all the others nicely green. My gut tells me to hold them, for now.
