No they won't do a repeat of the Sept. Conference. They were *shocked they say* at the effect it had.

It's not entirely their fault. The shorts decided to pounce on the shares and the analysts played their games. CYMI was just trying to play it straight and didn't realize the end result.

It reminds me of a story from the CEO of INTEL back at least 10-15 years ago. Intel used to do conference calls on the West Coast every Friday, or something like that. They wanted to pump up the struggling stock by being open with analysts and gain attention. Well, one call they mentioned there was a slight slowdown but that it should be temporary. The analysts on the West Coast immediately decided to start dumping stock. Those on the East Coast that didn't hear the news and were PISSED. The stock dropped something like 20-30% and Intel was upset that everyone over reacted. From that point on Intel decided to speak less freely. You hear that Cymer....? Intel 101, a good course. :-)
