Joe, I don't feel that the price of the buyout affects WSTL
at all. TXN will pay Amtx's penalty on the loan regardless
of the eventual price. What pisses me off is that the CEO
of amati said 18 months ago, he could have sold the company
for $30 when only 15 million shares were outstanding. How did
the company's value go down when its tied up contracts with
TAIWAN,BCTEL AND GTE? Something smells to high heaven and
you should expect shareholder lawsuits to follow if this deal
goes down. It's called fiduciary responsibility to its share-
holders.
