In Toronto at Woodbine they have a statue like Secretariat's of Norther Dancer en.wikipedia.org Dad used to take me to the races long before it was legal for me in Quebec :O) Thoroughbreds only please .. Secretariat ... what can you say.. amazing horse... I watch Seabuiscuit at least once a year ... and the Black Stallion is not too shabby either :O) Horses are beautiful ceatures... Bill Hartack became Northern Dancer's permanent jockey and guided him to victories in the Blue Grass and the Kentucky Derby, winning the Derby over a fast finishing Hill Rise in a record time that stood until it was broken by Secretariat in 1973. (Secretariat's record still stands).
