Not surprisingly, the Obama timeline leaves off a very important event:

"The next day, Jan. 13, 2009, [Bush DoE official Lachlan] Seward sent his email to Energy Department colleagues saying it was time to stop engaging with Solyndra officials."

STOP ENGAGING. Period. End of story.

They knew Solyndra was in trouble as Solyndra execs were pressuring them for a decision, and they flatly refused.

They can whine and blame from now on but it isn't going to change the facts.

I don't think voters are going to allow him to pass the buck on this one.
