How about that? The Fire will be the most successful Android tablet ever, and it will only run apps tested and approved by Amazon. And of course, Amazon gets a cut of all content you buy for it, as well as all the apps.

I thought that business model was both evil and doomed to failure, but I guess when anyone other than Apple does it, it's OK.

Kinda ironic, though, ain't it?
