of course it isn't -- you are asking me what I would have forecast -- that's colored by all kinds of memory modifications -- my memory is I would have predicted the dollar getting smashed, probably -- I can't remember what I was thinking exactly then -- but I think I was even smart enough then to realize, others would follow suit and the net result would ultimately be deflation -- the important point is this: where are yields on the bonds of the king currency in the world right now -- after a freaking ton of printing. Why does it matter what anyone thought then -- look at what is??

You can find plenty of folks still calling for a dollar or bond collapse -- and 5 years hence it will be the same --

and the rational person asks: collapse compared to what?
