Anyone have any thoughts in regard to a pre-earnings runup? No sign of one so far, Compaq ran up a couple of weeks before earnings and was fairly flat just before earnings, then started down the day earnings were announced. Short term action in the major PC stocks simply continues to look weak, especially in view of all the supposedly 'good news' being issued. John
