It is a relatively modest package by today's standards. I doubt that the money is that important to her. I suspect that she wanted to get back into the game. She is too young for retirement.

Whitman was an early supporter of Mitt Romney in 2008. Would she leave HPQ to join a Romney administration, assuming that he is elected President?
