I am more libertarian but had to vote republican because they were lesser evil.

Ever since Reagan it's been that way for most of us.

When I see Perry - I see Bush.

I keep having this nightmare that 'compassionate conservatism' is going to come out of his mouth....

Romney looks very good. He really look presidential. But the problem with him is that I don't believe a word he is saying

I have no doubt that Romney would work to get rid of Obamacare but when it comes to the big ideas, reforming taxes and the way the gov't does business, he seems to be more influenced by the changing wind more than principle.

Romney is being sold as only candidate that can beat Obama. But why not Cain?

Not one reason.... Cain might even have an advantage over Romney since he doesn't have the baggage of Romneycare, (still not satisfactorily explained in my book) and Obama would have a great difficulty playing the race card...<g>

And I don't buy that BS about him not being knowledgeable about foreign politics. None of them are.

That dog won't hunt after electing the most inexperienced person ever to occupy the White House......The only difference is I believe that Herman Cain would have no trouble filling in the blanks and coming to the proper conclusions.... Besides, Cain would be able to focus on domestic issues if he selected the proper Secretary of State.....(John Bolton)....
