Having been exposed to high-level QNTM execs at the company in the past, I believe QNTM acts in a highly ethical way and bends over backward to *not* selectively disclose information.
FWIW, I do not feel QNTM has shared inside info with H&Q, tho Todd Bakar is a well respected analyst (in my view) and his opinion should be scrutinized. I repeat my earlier thought -- look to Lehman, Kim Alexy has been a strong QNTM supporter and steadfast thru recent bad news (accurately I might add, including the HTCH/SEG problems earlier this year.
If she turns negative, then this is a very bad sign short term. If she stays positive, the stock will or should be stable to up.
I have 2-3 year horizon, even on margin, so I am prepared to ride it out unless I get called by my broker, so my views are colored by this foolish long-term view. (BTW, 2-3 years isn't really long term, but compared to most SI posters, it's incredibly long.) |
