"The Head Start program and community colleges"

I agree about the community colleges, some very dedicated people teach there and it is a way out for a lot of people who have not been well served by what our public school system has turned into.

I've read that any advantage accrued through Head Start disappears pretty quickly, around 3rd grade (if I remember correctly) the test results for Head Start kids is the same as for non-Head Start kids of the same socio-economic background, so that one apparently is a feel good day care program.
