Let's see now.
Long term memory is still intact----short term vacates the noggin first.

Yep.

1958--(long nuff ago I was 17) I left hearth and home and went off to school at Texas Technological College----that was before it became Texas Tech University.

That says it all.
I've been on the cutting edge of tech ever since.

My next door business neighbor,( whom I got interested in computers over 25 yrs ago) and I bid on a IBM mainframe that was housed in a 25 x 40 climate controlled room......
That was back in the age of punch cards. Had no logical reason for the potential purchase but couldn't help ourselves.

I'm the reason for my wife's interest in computers and she became the director of technology for the local school system.

No brag---just fact.
Yep, tech has been in the forefront of my life for a long time.
Mainly cause I'm plain lazy and saw it was much less effort to do things the tech way....... gggg

Lunch is over.

Later-----tech head Nemer
