Al, I don't recall who initially made the prediction of 35 by year end but it wasn't me. My original target was 24 when NXTL was below 15. When NXTL hit 32 for a brief time I felt that the 35-by-yr.-end prediction had a shot at being right. That's not my current view. Look for NXTL to bottom between now and Feb. 15. (That's ignoring the obscene price the MM's offered the day after the market shutdown. If you count that, the bottom has been reached, absent another market downdraft.) My target price for 1998 is 55. Mind you, that's the high, not necessarily the price where NXTL will settle. At 55 the stock will be ahead of itself, but only a tad. Look for 40-45 as fair value on 12/31/98.

As for your comment that "(i)f we think good things, good things will happen," I couldn't disagree with you more. While this is not the religion or philosphy thread, I know that what we think doesn't count for a whit. It's what 'is', not what we think, that counts. There are absolute truths in this world, and thinking otherwise won't change those truths. Now if we could only separate NXTL's absolutes from the chaff, then we'd have something.
