Afternoon John

Saw your comments on the Bema thread---

"Spoke with John Anderson for the first time on Monday. Told him the
long mine payback looked like a big minus, and asked about Johnson's statement that higher
grade ore from other deposits in the area would be considered for early throughput to reduce the
payback time. He told me that the metallurgy checks out to do this, and mentioned Roman and
Jotabeche I believe.
He also said drill results from El Callao will be coming out, and maybe a new ECM resource
estimate. One rig is still down there and he actually said they "keep hitting gold". They have to
make the decision
what to go to prefeasibility (or feasibility? -notes not clear)with--
at what point do they cut the deposits off for study purposes."

In this flood of terrible prices, it's at least good to see a problem like that--

They "keep hitting gold".

Now if a few buyers would start thinking positive. Hard to believe the price, isn't it!!

Of course we all know it should be MUCH higher.

Maybe in '98.

:-)
