I received my T-shirts today. They cleared customs without incident or intervention. Canada Post actually delivered them rather than leaving me a notice advising where to pick up the parcel.

This was done rather quickly given that I didn't complete the order form correctly (put in my Login ID rather than my Alias).

And the T-shirts are of much better quality than I'd expected.

Many thanks to Brad and his wife for their efforts.
