Steve Jobs has died.

Apple has lost its consumer marketing genius who devised the eideas that could be built and which leveraged the consumer's needs and abilities, maximizing Apple's appeal.

Gadgets are indeed what attract people. In apples' case the gadgets used information flow wisely, with the so called ease of use, and McCluhanistic involvement in involvement and the communication and personalization of data.

I doubt most engineers and companies get it, as they would be looking to build from chip out, or program out rather than from the user's brain and pocket in. Does Apple get it too? We shall see.

They need to hire me. My best qualification is that I have no qualifications.

If the Iphone could open cans and make dog walking easier it would start to come of age. I am looking for the Icar and Iplane.

I still like Blackberry keys as the tactile feedback makes the data entry experience more satisfying. I think someday data entry will make a 3d vault over its present paradigm and work one handed.

I am still in touch with Jobs. I am not sure where he is, but he told me don't worry, be scared. They can't see the future there either. Something about it has to happen so make it happen. Not sure what that means.
