<Will WSTL up their bid or look else where?>

Neither. That is why TI simultaneously inked a multi-year
deal with WSTL. This allowed TI do little to improve upon
WSTL's bid. WSTL will be content with the $18M, plus the
multi-year TI contract. Amati receives a somewhat better
offer, with a much improved futuristic outlook. TI enters
a big potential market at a minimal cost.

The question I have is ... what is the intrinsic value of
Aware relative to Amati?

This market could be potentially huge. And today TI confirmed
their belief in the markets potential. Buyout, or no buyout,
today's actions are positive for the ADSL market.
