Kal,

The WBT (Window's Based Terminal) is an NC. It won't have a hard drive but will have a Windows CE variant operating system and will be served by Microsoft's new Hydra extension to NT 4.0. Hydra is build on Citrix's Winframe multi user NT software (talk about a success story, Citrix's stock price has increased 6x). I know that I am the pied piper for NCD Incorporated (symbol NCDI) my other favorite investment and if you look at the NCD Home page at www.ncd.com, there is more information on WBT's as well as recent press releases of WBT's at Comdex. In addition, NCD and IBM's jointly developed Network Station 1000 is a Java NC and IBM Lotus really plans on rolling out alot of Java software codename Kona I believe.

Regards,
Dave Hsu

P.S. There was a San Jose Mercury Times report a couple of weeks ago that stated that Fed Ex has already downselected their contract to two bids of which Sun was not one selected. Of course no one knows for sure until the announcement is made in early December. Not sure if the San Jose Mercury has a search capability but the article was only available the day the article came out.
