I wouldn't use the term class warfare to describe tax policy myself. Looking back at my post that started this I see that I didn't provide a link to the source. gregmankiw.blogspot.com Other than that the point remains that Obama isn't suggesting to just return the tax code to where it was during the Clinton years. He is proposing making it slightly more re-distributive. Seems reasonable to me.
