BTW, tejek, in your ongoing full throated endorsement of Geithner and Bernanke's support for the banks, you should keep in mind who you are siding with. These bankster are criminals. They are continuing to steal from the 99% of Americans. In your support for recapitalizing them, you are directly supporting criminals. How much more evidence of this do you need, before you stop voting for the people who are in bed with the banksters and are supporting their recapitalization? Obama is supporting Geithner and Bernanke. He's culpable, even if not directly responsible. He could fire Geithner tomorrow if he chose and he could get on the bully pulpit to pressure Bernanke to cease and desist, but he doesn't, because Obama is bought and paid for, just like the GOP. I think we all need to wake up and smell the coffee. More evidence of wholesale theft and fraud and criminality from a Federal Reserve Bank:

Apparently, you have a very short memory. You don't remember how bad things were in 2008. You're talking to someone who lives in a city which lost the headquarters of the one of the major banks in the country. This country/the globe was teetering on the brink of collapse back then. If Geithner and Bernanke weren't who they are, we would have lost significant portions of our banking system.

Meanwhile its three years later, the vast majority of American banks are solvent and stabilized while Europe still struggles. In fact Trichet, the person, who has led the Euro Central Bank for the past three years, thinks more like you do. He's been raising interest rates and approving only the minimalist of financial assistance to the PIIGS.........and you can see where that has gotten Europe. Europe is holding back the rest of the world.

MM, Ron Paul is not talking to someone wandering the street. I have followed this mess very closely. And his proposals.......his perspective........do not stand up to rigorous scrutiny.

You talk like you found nirvana. In reality, its just another tired, 20th century theory that R. Paul's dusts off and brings to the public every few years. There is good reason he remains just a House Rep.
