I am sure it will sell and it will make a lot of sense but I doubt there is anything in it that hasn't been thought of before. Any number of us on this thread could write a sensible book on how to put a lot of people back to work but no one will read it. We basically know that we have to invest in infrastructure, green technology, and education. We basically know how we can raise the money. (Restore Bush tax cuts, eliminate waste and corruption, eliminate tax loopholes, and conserve wasteful energy utilization that pollute our environment that create longer term costs. We know that we have to take care of the elderly, the sick, and those that have fallen on hard times - whether permanent or just temporary. We are not going to let people die in the streets. But there are a lot of people who believe that a dog eat dog type society is the only way to go. They will fight to the death and will not be happy until all the weak dogs are left begging for charity from the private sector and left to die in the streets.
