The American Enterprise Institute is really bad. And the 50 or so right wing groups financed by Koch brothers, Henry Mellon Scaif, et al. Murdock is just your run of the mill sociopaths. He got his start when he inherited his fathers newspaper and made millions in Australia and England selling tabloids with lies, gossip and naked women. Vile man and so destructive to our democracy. Why the right wingers cannot see through his shit just amazes me!? He has made a fortune on the right wing's gullibility and naivety. It is so ironic and poetic, that the most irate people in America, the right wigners, are being played like puppets by the rich and powerful according to scripts written by the right wing puppet masters started by the likes of Lee Atwood's southern strategy and then the rich Republicans like koch Scaief and Murdocks. <<I agree but that is just the tip of the iceberg. The real damage is the propaganda apparatus. Fox News is the most obvious. Rupert Murdoch is a bit of mystery. I don't get exactly his psyche but the people he hires Roger Ailes and the people at the WSJ (editorial board) know exactly what they are doing. It is brain washing on a large and crude level. But the real powerful interests are represented by those "think tanks" (AEI, Cato Institute, Heritage Foundation, etc) and their collateral "literary handouts" (National Review, Weekly Standard etc). None of these organizations have visible means of financial support). The Murdoch operation is crude and obvious. They effectively dole out stipends to thousands of little mercenaries. But, Murdoch is a mystery. He is able to do this crude bs from a successful financial enterprise.
