There is probably a reason that that they keep doing this - mike or no mike. It gives them a feeling that people have a voice, and that they speak in a single voice. The truth is that the former simply makes them into a crowd, a herd - and the latter is an un-American aberration.

Don't recall where I read this expression recently, but they are acting like pyromaniacs in a land of straw men.

They are too dumb to realize that there are relatively not too many principles according to which societies can get organized. One crucial one is the degree of individual freedom - and you can't have freedom if you take away and redistribute every dime a person makes.

One of their seemingly favorite political ideas - to kill the rich - would be a great, fast track to poverty and third-worldism.
