Yep, seems like everything is fixed, bears are killed again.

Some wavers on Minyanville. I would not trust the chart, and
Hell if I know what's going on, why these markets are NOT crashing.
I don't complain, since they, whoever they are - machines, algos -
buy gold too, but WTF? Nothing is fixed -vbg-

This is why shorting was always a shot to mid term trade for me, not
an "investment" and having the rare end protected in case you are wrong
is extremely important. I also prefer shorting individual stocks due to
"whoever" protecting the stock indexes. Most likely that whoever is
the system itself - as long fund managers get bearish and fearful,
they buy puts on major broad indexes. As they do so, the indexes rally!
The volatility smirk is designed for automatic algo purchases through Delta
hedging as time goes by, unless the market is out of liquidity.
