I'm sorry, I added the "not bad, pathetic" reference to an earlier post in the conversation and it referred to meth users and other addicts. I had no intention of disrespecting any soldier, nor any representation in the "Hurt Locker."

You made a logical inference--I did not communicate properly.

I presume you saw "The Hurt Locker." Which do you think it represented: PTSD, or addiction to adrenalin?
I thought it was addiction laced with a profound realization that no person who had not endured that experience could possibly understand.

We're losing and maiming way too many soldiers. Those who are merely maimed suffer medical treatment that often includes a lot of pain killers. My SIL, who has reason to know, says there is a huge problem with the aftermath.

Question, UW: "Do you recommend Wounded Warriors as a place to donate? If not, where else? I want to make sure overhead does not suck up everything I give."
