>> I don't know wingers.......I thought this Occupy Wall Street was like the teaper movement but its seems to be growing bigger and bigger and bigger. Add Des Moines, Omaha and Naples, FLA to the movement. And now the teachers are joining in too.
What EXACTLY is it they want?
I was in a hotel the other night and had gotten pissed and walked out of the cafe downstairs, so I called the manager up from my room. It was 3am. She said, "I'll do anything you'd like to fix this. You tell me what you want to eat and I'll bring it up to you personally -- no charge for any of it. If you aren't hungry anymore tell me what you want me to do, and I'll handle it." Oh, shit. Now what? It is 3am, I really don't want to be up for another hour waiting on someone to deliver food to my room. OTOH, why am I calling if there is nothing they can do to make me happy? I had no idea how to answer the manager's question.
The point being, before you launch into a tirade, you need to have some idea what it is you want to get out of it. These people in NYC have launched into a tirade, and if someone walked out onto Wall Street tomorrow and said, "Okay, we give up. What can we do to 'make it right'?", they would be met with silence and a deer-in-the-headlight look, because these guys HAVE NO F*G IDEA WHAT IT IS THEY WANT. Do they want the banks to write them a check? Do they want the banks to hire them (LOL)? WTF do they want?
I think Herman Cain had it about right. Maybe these idiots ought to move the sit-in to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave., because Obama's idiotic policy is where these problems are found, NOT on Wall Street. Wall Street is symbolically, at least, the heart of opportunity for every American, because it is what has given us the ability to form large organizations that can hire millions of people. So, you want to bash THEM? Bullshit.
You're supposed to be a teacher. What do these idiot teachers hope to get out of occupying whichever street they happen to be on? THEY are the fools that voted for Obama, who dropped this bomb on them. So, what now? |
