tim, hwp will not catch cpq in pc's in fact with cpq's tandem purchase cpq could surpass HWP in total revenue.
cpq will be 50 billion for yr 2000....
hwp can do that too.... we'll see..
but, hwp statement of being no 1 in pc's by 2000 is impossible..
they are going to have to hustle to be 60 billion in yr 2000.
They do need to consolidate plants and lay off about 30,000 people.
while doubling revenue in 3 yrs.
