John, I believe you have the sequence right about the BB process. After the NASD gets the forms, they contact the SEC to get their blessing which should be no problem. It's just that all these steps take time. A market maker has to read all this GRNO stuff and decide whether it is worth trading, then fill out the form and send it to the NASD, the NASD has to contact the SEC and the SEC has to respond and then the NASD has to get back to the MMs. I think that is how it all works. Anyway, I can see lots of bureaucracy to go through its motions. Who knows how long that will take. Then there is the subject of customer orders in general and the Turks in particular. One of the common themes that seem to run through all these deals seem to be a dream-like slow motion effect. I attribute that to the necessity of having to deal with various government authorities to get approvals of various kinds. Those of us who have been with this stock for the last year or so know there is plenty of opportunity for owner-operators of GRNO machines if they have the gumption to do what it takes to make it all happen. That means doing whatever it takes to get the necessary governmental approvals. It helps a great deal if the government bureaucrats and politicians are motivated to do the right things. Why have we seen this today about the Turkish deal and not about one of many others? Maybe it has to do with the nature of the Turkish themselves. I hope what I have to say doesn't sound bigoted. But look at the events of 20th century history. The Germans and Japanese, coming from relatively small countries, almost took over the world and would have if first the Brits and then the USA and Soviets hadn't been around. Then after the WW II, they just about took over the world financially and still dominate their spheres of the financial world. It takes a lot of drive to do what they have done. The Ottoman Empire dominated areas extending from Austria to Egypt for centuries. Even today, they have neighbors and even the Kurds and Armenians within their borders who would like to clean their clock if they could. I suspect the Turkish people are not your typical third world types. I suspect they are pulling ahead in the GRNO order pack because they are fundamentally motivated to succeed. Where is Okee-boy?
