I was 20 feet away when the guy killed it....and he was not...how do we say.....surgical about it.

same here...except I was "the guy"

the skunks dying act was to raise his tail and dump.

It was horrible, but at least it was on a snow drift. So I could scoop most of it up.

Problem was it was outside my bedroom window, in an old house. Not airtight.

But at least it was outside, because the skunk had been living "under" the house for 3 weeks or so.

One night he was out and I caught him in a trap to keep him from getting back under.

It was kinda like the dog when he chases a car and catches it.....Now, what are you going to do with it?
