While GM had expected to sell 10,000 Volts by the end of 2011, only about 4,000 have been sold so far. Still, GM spokesman Rob Peterson said sales will pick up now that the Volt is being sold nationwide. Until recently it was only available in a few states.

Why aren't all the screaming in your face environmentalists not buying all the Chevy volts? I'll tell you why. They are all fakes like Al Gore. They don't care about the environment at all. They do care about empowering themselves over anybody that believes they ARE environmentalists and they will surely take your hard earned money in their con game. What this really tells me is that, in reality out of 300M people, there are only 4000 or less REAL environmentalists. The rest are cons and frauds wearing all types of insipid banners to include progressive, socialists, etc.
