No charge for limit orders at Datek. Check out this link for an independent rating of online brokers: gomezadvisors.com

FYI, I use Datek and Web Street Securities. Datek is faster, but Web Street is fast too. If you trade in 1000 share or greater increments of Nasdaq stock the trade is free with Web Street, so I use them when trading the lower price stocks. Price improvement on limit orders between the spread are about equal with either broker.
