Michael, Quite obvious why they built the Academy on that bend in the river...they did it for security and defense....the back entrance over the mountain is unpassable without the current highway....They never intended the views to be such an attraction...but, as you witnessed it is a beautiful area....the planning that went into this fortification is legendary up here....hoping that Dell takes care of all my future plans. Their planning is why I am so fascinated by the company... If ever up this way you can contact me in the area phone book...New Paltz....with a name like mine...there is only one.... Best,Kemble
