Did you ever watch the PBS show where a small group of people tried to restore an abandoned B-29 in Greenland and then try and fly it back home? I think it was a B-29? Its the big bomber they used to bomb Japan. Its called superfortress or something. I think it was Greenland but not quite sure. Memory fades. Anyways, what a great 60 minutes of viewing for any aviation fan. I won't say how it ended up but it was ever gut wrenching to watch. You have to see it. The video can be ordered online at pbs.org.
