Dear Jim :

First time poster to this thread ??? If so WELCOME !!!!! Come back anytime and FEEL AT HOME and bookmark.. If I'm wrong about first time...please forgive!!!!

This thread has been so mentally challenging to me it is causing me to think more about God's word than I ever have HAD to before.

Rereading your post several times I feel that it boils down to one question in YOUR MIND..innappropriatness of the offering or difference of hearts.

To me it is #2 .Difference of the hearts of two men.

But that has been my whole point.Had Cain had a heart for God he would have known God would require a sin offering.

Today is no different. Those with a heart for God know that Jesus is the way to salvation.. they have no doubt about it. Those that do not have a heart for God also do not know what God's requirement for salvation is. So I don't want to rain on any parades but if you do not believe God's requirement, today, for salvation is JESUS then please examine your heart, reason with God as he tried to reason with Cain.

Also if you think you have a heart for God but do not believe in JESUS, please again examine your heart.......let me or others on this thread reason with you......time is short......don't let this opportunity pass...that is why we are here.........In Christ..............gregor
