I think with all the financial problems that informix has been having, this will boost growth. Many companies I believe will turn away from informix towards oracle due to these problems. My company for example looked into informix and oracle, but the concern was wheter informix cold support us and the big question was whether they would sty financially solvent. We wnet with oracle. I think this scenario will carry over to many other firms.
