[CASH position]--- If, as you say, Amati was financially strapped,
where did they get 15 million to pay as a penalty for the voided
merger with WSTL. Txn is saying Amati paid it.Were their shipments
these last six weeks that strong? Maybe their earnings report
will paint a different picture. Wasn't that due out yesterday?
Why the delay?

With dsl deployment on the edge of full deployment after 2 years,
this whole thing stinks. The buyout fron txn better include
the details of whatever amtx' management team is deriving beyond
their lousy 7% holdings. I will never invest in a company again
whose management doesn't maintain a significant ownership position.
I would welcome a hostile takeover right now.
