Updated numbers on Honeycomb sales:

Taken from

developer.android.com
As of Oct 3 2011,
Android 3.0 0.2%
Android 3.1 0.9%
Android 3.2 0.7%

That's a total of 1.8% share of the Android userbase, an increase of 0.4% sequentually. If I estimate the total Android install base at 177 million, that equates to 3.19 million Honeycomb tablets total...

Yesterday, Google announced total Android activations of 190 million, presumably for the Sept quarter. Therefore, I'd estimate the active Honeycomb installed base at 3.42 million. Maybe it's not dead yet! On the other hand, it would not surprise me if the Kindle Fire surpassed Honeycomb this Christmas to cummulative sales. Bezos said Amazon would sell "millions."
