CAMPBELL TECHNOLOGIES INC. AND IMAGINET
AT INTERNET WORLD 97
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE November 13, 1997 Vancouver, B.C. Campbell Technologies Inc.'s (OTC:BB symbol: CBTK) wholly owned subsidiary, Imaginet Communication Group Inc., will be launching their complete range of Digital Catalog software products at Internet World 97 in New York City on December 8 to 12. Internet World 97 is expected to have 60,000 attendees and it is anticipated that significant sales and strategic alliances will result from our participation at this trade show.
Campbell will also launch its ISP (Internet Service Provider) franchise program at the show. As the only franchise program of its kind, we expect to generate significant interest from some of the hundreds of independent ISP owners attending from all over North America who are ideal candidates to convert their existing ISP's to Imaginet franchise ISP's.
New Directors
Mr. Tom Dodd and Mr. Christopher Stringer have agreed to join the company's Board of Directors effective today.
Mr. Dodd has been heading the company's Retriever! Software development and marketing since May of this year and will bring his considerable experience to the Board. His most recent venture was as V.P. Marketing for Dynapro Systems Inc., where he was responsible for driving revenues from $4 million per year to over $70 million.
Mr. Stringer is a successful businessman with extensive experience in franchise and overall business development. Some of the highlights of his career includes that he was the Founder of Molly Maid International Inc., which has 500 franchises in Canada, the U.S.A., Great Britain and Japan, and was also the Founder of Pygmalion Environmental Products Ltd., which is the largest distributor of industrial and environmental absorbent and filtration products in Canada. He is also the President of ServiceMaster of British Columbia where he has expanded the business four fold in five years. Mr. Stringer's experience is a very valuable addition to our Board.
