i don't recall if bowles simpson's debt reduction tax plan(s) (there are three proposals) have been posted in some of the 999 plan discussions here, but this link below is a summary of the three versions the bowles simpson group issued. i would say before getting too cross or decisive about 999, you may want to look at these summaries of bowles simpson. if something like 999 is not implemented, something like bowles simpson is coming after 2012. i just noticed something i missed in 2010 about bowles simpson that calls for a 15 cent surcharge on vehicle fuel. i did read a thing from cain's 999 stating the 9% national sales tax does not include fuel for vehicles.

try this postulate, because it is likely to be proved after 2012. no matter what taxes we get after 2012 you can be sure your taxes are going UP no matter what your station in life is today. i personally am in favor of a champion of something i feel sure of rather than leaving future taxes up to unknown entities that feel slippery to the ears and eyes.
