I have several lady cops as clients. They are very tough women. It helps to be wearing body armor and carrying a gun, a steel baton, and a radio for backup.

One woman cop I represented, a sergeant street patrolling a very tough part of DC, wears a lot of gold jewelry, even when she is in uniform on patrol. I asked her, "aren't you afraid to wear all that gold on the street?" She just laughed. "No, I have a gun." She's a pistol-packing mama. Not hard-wired to flight.

I pity the fool who messes with her.
