John,

I never chain-smoke in the house. Especially since the wife has her rolling pin waiting for me the first time she walks in and smells the foul ordor of burning tobacco and benzene. And its getting a little chilly here in our nation's scandal-ridden capital. I may have to actually quit for the winter.... :0) (BTW, speaking of quitting Mr. Seyer, how's that nervous twitch?? Suffering nicotine fits yet??))

As for the Turkey deal, what I find most striking is the time horizon... Jan 31st. Hopefully this will be the last extension that is neccessary as MANOVA maneuvers through its' country's political machinery. Having necessary waivers from the Ministry of Energy also strikes me as tantamount to a public blessing of the project. I understand that Turkey is enacting strict pollution controls and likely recognizes the value of recycling waste oil and easing its energy dependency all in one fell swoop. Having a market potential of 300 million tons annually will equate into a sizeable quantity of Green Machines, methinks.

This news release may be understated. Actually lobbying one's government to enact a special law aimed at creating a waste oil collection and recycling infrastructure means that someone is very serious in 'ol Anatolia.

As for bigotry, my wife is 2nd generation Armenian, so we understand Armenian sentiment towards Turks. While her family suffered greatly at the hands of Ataturk during the Armenian Genocide, business is, after all, business. And I'm sure that MANOVA realizes the lucrative possiblities of doing it the Green Oasis way.

Looks like BC's little European "junket" wasn't all play afterall.... :0)

BTW, has anyone noticed that the OVIS/RMIL thread has received over 30,000 posts since July, 97??!!! They make for a truly entertaining read if you have two weeks of 48 hour days to browse through them all.... :0)

Life is truly NOT FAIR!!! :0(

Regards,

Ron
