It is a very real concern. The idea of creating an entirely new revenue source for liberals can be a frightening thing.

But our federal tax code is debilitating. It is legitimately a difficult choice, but it is a much smaller step from 999 to fairtax than it is from the Internal Revenue Code to 999. Cain's taken on the big challenge--ripping out the IRC by the roots.
