Re: e-mail about Carter interview

Unfortunately, Ted Carter was only on for a few minutes or so and wasn't able to get into much detail about the gold sector, or other predictions. Here is some other info he did give, but I am going by memory, so some facts may be a little brief, but hopefully correct.

He did say what to look for when buying into a junior gold company. Such as, a company with lots of capital and a good exploration team. It should also have a exploration project that has advanced to the second stage. I'm not sure exactly what the 2nd stage is, but I assume it is near the time they will begin drilling.

The only other information he gave was about the other two companies, I mentioned in my initial post.

The reason he mentioned Canarc, was the JV agreement they have with Placer Dome. Where Placer among other things will pay 20 million over 5 years to explore the property.

As far as Pacific Rim is concerned, he mention a Katherine, I believe their president. And said she has suceeded with a company in the past and hopefully she will do it again. They also have a JV with Barrick that he likes.

With the two JV agreements these companies have, Ted said investors are in a good position, because any results will be very reliable with the majors doing the exploration.

I hope you found this helpful and good luck.(especially with PVO)

Regards

Doug
