If you mean in that particular scripture 1 Thess.4:17.. I don't believe it is. Paul is emphasizing only that we should not be concerned that those who have already gone on. They will in fact come back with Jesus when He returns. Thereby helping them understand that we who are alive in the flesh....will meet them all in the spirit also. Being awake is only the beginning. We must be spiritually prepared.! Yes Barry it is important that we help others avoid this deception, but some will just not. The main point is that if they do not know that this spurious messiah is satan, and are deceived into believing it really is Jesus, then they cannot be held responsible. God will use those who do know the truth in a most important way. The ones that know the truth(that satan is disguised as Jesus) God will use to give a testimony for Jesus against satan during that hour. It is at that time only that the unforgivable sin can be committed. In God's soverignity He knows the ones that He will choose will not committ the unforgivable sin. Thereby keeping the others blind to the truth as a veil of innocence to protect them form damnation. These christians will be the ones to run out of oil when they most need it....
