So you're driven to make purchase decisions not based on the merits of the product, but by the comments of an Internet troll.

I like the other reason better. Gotta support AMD or else PC prices will go through the roof!

Or if not AMD, then maybe ARM. Which, come to think of it, may be a bigger threat to AMD's existence than Intel could ever (legally) be.
